A DRAMATIC SPACE

Hello and a very warm welcome to the Albert Square Chop House in Thomas Worthington’s iconic Memorial Hall, bang in the heart of the City. Built in 1866, listed, but long neglected, it’s now a brilliant dining pub and British restaurant, with a unique function floor that’s perfect for events, business meetings, private dining, parties and weddings. Come and see us soon.

Once a Victorian warehouse, now a converted post-industrial space featuring an open kitchen, with original architectural character and exposed services, THIS is where we prepare and present our classic British food. Head Chef Duncan Anderson looks out over the restaurant from the open plan kitchen to an area adorned with comfortable booth seating and a decadent faux rose garden with nods to its Victorian heritage.
